Every 10 to 15 hours of operation:
■ Remove and clean the spark plug.
Adjust the spark plug electrode gap to
0.6 mm (0.024 in). If the spark plug
must be replaced, use only an NGK
BPM8Y or equivalent spark plug of
the correct heat range. See Figure
15.
CAUTION!
Before removing the spark plug,
clean the area around the plug to
prevent dirt and debris from getting
into the engine’s internal parts.
Clean the spark plug
and check the gap at
the electrode.

1. Clean dirt from grease tting (A) and grommet (B).
2. Do not force grease. Too much pressure will force grease past seals and
cause damage. Apply 1-2 pumps of grease every 20 hours of operation.
3. Remove the grommet next to the grease icon then add grease as illustrated.
4. Reinstall the grommet securely in the hole otherwise, it may become lost.
